Day 1: Arrive Cape Town Arrive at your hotel in Cape Town and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. The Cape Milner Hotel (4 nights)

Day 2: Cape Town After a delicious breakfast, you’ll be picked up for a thrilling city tour of Cape Town; exploring world famous sites such as Table Mountain, The Company Gardens, The Castle of Good Hope and the vibrant flea market, Greenmarket Square. After taking in the sights, smells and sounds of this buzzing city, you’ll return to the hotel for an afternoon at leisure. Tonight experience a sophisticated African feast at The Gold Restaurant where dining is a celebration of food and flavour, accompanied by African stories told through music, singing and dancing. Day 3: Cape Town Today you’ll delve into Cape Town’s fascinating history on a full-day Walk to Freedom tour. Visit Bo-Kaap Museum, the Slave Lodge, and the District Six Museum. Then, take a ferry across the bay to Robben Island for an unforgettable tour of the island and a guided tour of the prison by an ex-inmate. (B)

Day 4: Cape Town Enjoy a tasty breakfast to set you up for a full-day Cape Point & Peninsula tour. Marvel at Magnificent beaches, breath-taking views, historic and picturesque coastal villages and more along the way. The Cape Peninsula is one of the world’s most scenic areas and stretches from the City centre to Cape Point. Visit the Good Hope Nature Reserve, which has magnificent fynbos vegetation, birdlife, endemic antelope species and zebra, historic lighthouses and shipwrecks. Cape Point is perceived to be the meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. (B)

Day 5: Stellenbosch After breakfast, you will be transferred to the heart of the Cape Winelands for a three night stay. Check in to your hotel and then enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure, exploring the region or relaxing as you see fit. (B) 107 Dorpstraat Boutique Hotel (3 nights)

Day 6: Stellenbosch Prepare for a full-day Dine & Wine tour of the region, which combines the Classic Cape Cuisine Walk through Stellenbosch with a Vine Hopper visit to two wine estates after the walking tour. The morning will start with the Classic Cape Cuisine walk through Stellenbosch where you can savour traditional Cape food and wine on a walking tour through the historic heart of Stellenbosch with its splendid buildings and colourful characters. Day 7: Stellenbosch Today finds you exploring some of the many wine farms on offer in the region on board the Franschhoek Wine Tram. Experience some of South Africa’s oldest and most distinguished wineries in a unique and leisurely way, taking in the views of the rolling vineyards onboard the open-sided tram. Activities on offer at each estate vary and may include wine tasting, cellar tours, lunch or simply a stroll through the famous vineyards. (BL)

Day 8: Depart Stellenbosch Transfer back to Cape Town International Airport for your onward journey.
