4 day Spirit Bear Lodge, Grizzly & Spirit Bear Viewing

Day 1: Arrive Vancouver – Spirit Bear Lodge Fly to Bella Bella on a scheduled two hour afternoon flight and transfer by water taxi to Klemtu and the Spirit Bear Lodge. After check in you can relax and make the most of the amenities on offer before dinner and a presentation outlining the next day’s activities. (D)

Day 2: Spirit Bear Lodge After breakfast head out for a full day of wildlife viewing. Choose from many activities today including: wildlife and bear viewing, kayaking, hiking or a cultural site visit. Guests visit estuaries, stunning inlets and see spectacular waterfalls. You’ll return in time for appetizers at 6pm, dinner at 7pm, followed by an evening presentation on aspects of the Great Bear Rainforest, Bears or First Nations culture. (BLD)

Day 3: Spirit Bear Lodge Everyday at Spirit Bear Lodge is unique, visiting many diverse and breathtaking locations in search of wildlife and the elusive Spirit Bear. From frolicking cubs in sedge grass meadows to slumbering sea lions on rocky ocean islands, your knowledgeable guides will reveal the best viewing areas to maximize wildlife sightings. Relive your incredible experiences with your fellow guests over dinner. (BLD)

Day 4: Spirit Bear Lodge – Vancouver Today, you have a choice of guided excursions including a rainforest walk, a black bear tracking tour or a cultural tour. With a packed lunch you board the water taxi to Bella Bella in time to take your afternoon flight back to Vancouver. (BL) Note: Longer durations of four and seven night packages are also available.
